Welcome to Starring Lucy Boynton(previously Introducing Lucy Boynton) a fansite dedicated to the actress Lucy Boynton. Lucy is perhaps best known for her role as Raphina in Sing Street (2016). Lucy has since starred in films such as Murder on the Orient Express (2017), Apostle (2018) and Bohemian Rhapsody (2018). We aim to provide you with the latest news and more.
Although we have been getting plenty of updates of Lucy with new photoshoots seemingly every week, I thought I would start updating the site/gallery with images not yet added.
Recently I bought a copy of Lucy’s editorial with You Magazine way back in June 2017. It was hard to find any scans online so I decided to buy it instead. I have added these scans to the gallery with watermarks. I would appreciate if you could give credit to the site is posting elsewhere!
I didn’t expect to have another photoshoot with Lucy, but she proved me wrong! Recently she sat with Interview magazine, who have just published her interview online. Speaking with Sarah Nechamkin, she talked briefly about her upcoming project, The Politician and being a homebody.
“The scale and size of everything was daunting,” says Boynton about working with the Murphy “family,” which on this project includes Jessica Lange and Gwyneth Paltrow.
A self-described homebody, Boynton is most at ease sinking into her domestic cocoon with a good book. The last one she read was Truman Capote’s The Grass Harp
Today I was very excited to see that Lucy has featured on another cover of a magazine! This time she appears in a full spread, and interview, in C Magazine for their April issue. Some highlights of the interview are below.
“It was insane,” Boynton says in a British accent, today’s big grin decidedly more relaxed. “I’m usually watching the Oscars on the sofa at 3 in the morning at my mom’s in London.
“People get quite nervous about red carpet stuff,” Boynton says. “But I realized early on that as long as I’m dressing for me, I can just have fun with it. Leith Clark, my stylist, always tells me, ‘If you don’t feel good, take it off immediately.’ I love her for that. You don’t want to walk out the door thinking, oh God, I hope I’ve got this right, I hope people like it.
Hi everyone! I uploaded these to the gallery a few days but haven’t actually made a post yet. Until now obviously 😉
Finally Rogue Magazine released their digital issue the features Lucy. Unfortunately I thought myself it was a larger spread but it only covered two pages. The better news is that we also got new outtakes of the accompanying shoot. I have added these to the gallery.
I bought the magazine and have added scans to the gallery. Please credit the site if posting elsewhere. Enjoy!
